For a variety of reasons, these past six months have been exhausting. But this past week has been especially challenging. I’d like to begin by sharing that despite me being a sharer, an open book if you will, for now I’m going to keep my challenges to my chest.
The important thing is this: I am okay.
I think it’s incredibly important to know that positive people can be anxious, overwhelmed, frustrated, etc. Indeed, better days are coming, but it’s important to roll in the mud and own the mess.
Eventually, this will be a grand fika, but for now, sharing that things are challenging feels like enough.
I’ve been doing the gratitude guide on Instagram, which has been a daily blessing for me. It reminds me of the small things I am thankful for, the people who gift me gratitude in forms of family and friendship, and the opportunities that exist everywhere.
Thanksgiving goes beyond the table, folks.. Feel everything and say thank you for it all.
