Hope

“The very least you can do in your life is figure out what you hope for. And the most you can do is live inside that hope. Not admire it from a distance but live right in it, under its roof.” ― Barbara Kingsolver, Animal Dreams

What a difference a year makes! There’s so much hope on the horizon whereas twelve months ago I wondered if we’d ever get to a place where I felt promise and purpose again. Today, aside from all of the traditional Easter fanfare, we also began our garden. Planting something from seed is a wonderful marker of hope.

We dig deep to sow, literally and figuratively. We water and weed. We harvest the crops. We have the highest of hopes for bountiful blooms as we anticipate adventures and ask, “what will become of all of this?”

What are you hopeful for?

Share and celebrate! Happy Easter.
