don’t wait

The fastest way to get what you actually want in your life is to drop the false belief that you must continue to wait in order to have it.⁣” ― Richie Norton

I am so guilty of waiting. Far too often we refer to a set order of doing things. I go out of order in many areas of life, but professionally, I wait. It’s directly tied to fear and I know it. But knowing it and doing something about it are two different entities. Therefore, I am here to proclaim, to myself and you, don’t wait.

I have been waiting for the right time to do many things. I’ve learned, especially throughout my motherhood journey to date, there is no right time. In fact, time has its own agenda and will quickly direct you if you don’t take the lead accordingly. I am married to an efficient and logical person. I am neither of those things. But I am not insufficient or incapable, so therefore, I can wait no longer.

I have this beautiful, crazy, and very “fika centered” concept that we’re all connected and need to figure out our connections to make our mark. Bear with me as I explain some more…

When was the last time you sought out someone new? When was the last time you scheduled a ten minute talk to discover something different or delve deeper? I’d argue that while we’re connected more than ever before via technology, there’s a disconnect in how we communicate with one another. This week I’ll be sharing how I’m taking these questions, exploring the answers, and moving forward. It’s the beginning of something special and fun.

So don’t wait. Go. Do. Talk. Live.

Now.
