It’s almost 9/12. So in the spirit of support, faith, and forward thinking, here’s to rising up. I hope this back to soul series has you thinking longer than the lyrics. I like to think that for as dark as 9/11 was, the light and love of 9/12 became remarkably inspiring. I am thankful for solidarity, purpose, kindness, and compassion. If you’ve been down, distracted, or doubtful, there’s never been a more perfect time to rise.
